Nike
As you look down at your new shoes, shirt and sweater with a small check mark and the word Nike displayed. You're proud to show up at school with your new wear, to bad you didn't see every tear, every whip and every splat of blood that went into that. Well the truth is that Nike has promoted child labour illegally in foreign countries such as Indonesia, China and Vietnam and managed to drop the minimum wage on these people. That's disgusting, whoever is running this so called sports company obviously doesn't have a heart, and if they do it's colder then ice. How the hell do you take something away from people who have absolutely nothing. First of all they are working in a factory because they don't have a good education or no job opportunities are available, and then there are these freaks who think it's alright to rip people off. Children are dieing in these sweat shops to make a stupid pair of shoes or a T-shirt, well if you want your clothing so much, make it your damn self. People know what Nike does, yet they still buy their products. Nike's slogan is "just do it", do what? Ruin people lives? That sounds like a great thing to do, god if I were the person behind this I'd hate myself for making such a terrible living out of the misfortunes of other people. There are a lot of terrible things in our world that are really hard to stop, such as poverty, murder or war, but this is a thing that CAN be stopped in seconds. Not that hard, just stop the labour, and if you can't find any body to work for you, well than that's to bad. Nike has already destroyed thousands of people's lives with their cheap labour, so honestly in my opinion they deserve nothing. I hope that it does stop, but considering the selfishness of what people are like today it will never happen. That's the sad cruel reality these people are going to have to face. Children will have to work in these sweat shops for their whole lives, never experience love friendship, family or school. They will never be able to grow up due to our fashion statements. Well Nike, you know you and your little logo"Just Do It", if you ever want to be honest to people, I'll give you a better name to use "Just Sew it".

Her Name Was Steven
I was watching this show called Her Name Was Steven on CNN yesterday and truthfully........... it shocked me. The documentary was about a man named Steven Stanton who lived a happy life with his wife and and teenage son, until he started questioning his gender. He felt as if he was a women trapped in a males body. The documentary showed the struggles he went through, including the transformation, family matters, and his job. This guy was fired because he wanted to be a women. This is what makes me mad because you cant fire somebody because they want to be somebody else. They thought this was untruthful and fired him. This is SO unfair. How can you fire someone if they're not happy with their appearance. I don't understand why they deemed this as an untruthful. Its NONE of their business! It's his personal life and they have to respect his decisions, without involving his personal life with his work life. This would be a different situation he killed someone, because that's a very serious matter, and this is NOT! Personally the people that made that decision are idiots. Well in my eyes, I see them as complete idiots. I don't know how they took a mans job away just because he changed his appearance. We say that we don't judge people on how they look, but we sure do according to this matter. I know that some people may think that getting a sex change is wrong, and against nature, but you can't bias your beliefs into a mans future. I don't think these people had any right to judge him on his personal decisions, and manage to fire him. That makes no sense at all. In my opinion these people obviously have no minds of their own, because somebody should of stood up and stopped it. Clearly it's to late now, and nobody will learn from this, because honestly it takes people forever to learn from there mistakes, and sometimes it takes to long and it will be to late. This also has to do with job discrimination. Even though we like to hide the fact and say that it never happens well it DOES. This is a perfect example too. It displays all the negative characteristics about our cruel, cruel society. Sometimes we need people like this. Sometimes we need people like this to wake us up, to help us open our eyes when they aren't willing to open. I know that probably nobody cares about this because it doesn't affect them. Nobody cares because it doesn't involve them, and that's sad. To know that humanity is that selfish, to think that we don't have to have empathy if it doesn't include us. Why were we even born with the trait of empathy? It's not as if anybody uses it. I don't even know why we have hearts. Of course we need them to breath, but we all know that nobody uses them to love. Steven Stanton quotes "it takes a real man to become a women", and it does, because I bet nobody could have the courage to deal with the public humiluation he went through. As much as people love to think that he deserves this for being such a "freak", the people who made the decision are the real freaks.
Paranormal Activity
I just finished watching Paranormal Activity, and WOW do I have allot to say. This is probably the most terrible movie I've ever seen. I was listening to reviews on YouTube how original, and horrifying it was. Well I have to say, it wasn't even close to horrifying, maybe suspenseful ( hardly ). I just don't understand what all the movie hype was. I guess they were just good at advertising.......For such a low budget movie they sure did rip off allot of people. I'd rather watch Barnie, and I think that would scare me more. I think this was a poor attempt to copy " The Blair Witch Project, which was an amazing movie. I recommend watching The Blair Witch Project instead of watching this. Sure if you want to fall asleep, I highly recommend watch Paranormal activity. I was very excited to watch this because this movie made millions, many people said it was horrifying, and watching it at home was the best experience, and it wasn't. I wish I watched it in the theatres so then at least I wouldn't fall asleep. I guess it depends on what you believe in. If you don't believe in ghosts, demons, evil spirits don't watch it, because it will bore you. Coming from a person who thinks ghosts and spirits are real, it was just absolutely ridiculous. There were some suspenseful moments, but as the movie progressed it just got, let me say LAME. There isn't really much to say about this, except that it was absolutely astonishing how these people tried to make a horror movie. Good try but I suggest directing children's movies, because frankly you can't direct horror movies. So all in all the lame attempt was amusing, but I have one good thing to say.....I had a great sleep that night. I wasn't scared I was going to be dragged out of bed, or my sheets would fall off my bed, or some sonic boom would wake me up, because these are what made me fall asleep......peacefully!

Should Execution be Executed?
This question doesen't cross many peoples minds, but it's one that has crossed mine. I in no way support anybody who has committed an illegal crime, such as rape and murder, personally they mean absolutley nothing to me, but this is my opinion on execution. I think that execution is a TERRIBLE way to deal with a situation. I know that the prisoner being put on death row deserves every thing that gets thrown at them, but using the method of killing isent the way to deal with it. What kind of society puts a human in prison for killing, and yet we manage to kill them. This does not make any sence to me at all. We're just as equal as the prisoner, we think that since they kill someone, then we have to kill back. I know if you disagree with me you think that they "may" escape and "may" harm somebody, but if we lived in a world of maybes then nothing would get done. The chance of a dangerouse person escaping will always be there wether we like it or not, but we can't use death as a result to prevent an escape. None of these people deserve a life, but as much as you want them dead, you have to realize what's going on. We can't honestley call ourselves humans if we kill one another. This applys to the criminal, and to the executer. People that work in theses conditions such as prison guards, may be at the risk of death. The chances of this are slim, but it still does happen. When they take these jobs they know they're at risk, by that I don't mean it's their fault, because in NO way it is. A police officer takes the risk of being shot at when they meet up with an impaired driver, but most of the time nobody gets injured. Now a days escapes are rare, and if they do occur most of the time the prisoner is caught. For others that disagree they think that since lets say a murderer killed somebody else they dont deserve a life. This is the big issue. I totally agree with this, as much as it goes against my argument, I honestley dont think they deserve another second alive, but we have to be the ones that are right. Obviousley the saying "two wrongs dont make a right", isent being applyed. I know that the people who have experienced the death due to another's actions is so traumatic, and I can't even imagine the pain and agony. As much as you want that person dead, just think they don't have a life in prison, they have no direction in life, they have nothing. I said that execution is inhumane. I don't mean inhumane as it's bloody man slaughter, I meant it in the way that we're killing, and some how found a way to make it legal. It's illegal to kill, but we have found a legal way to kill by lethal injection. This argument can go both ways, but I know I only believe in one. So if I'm wrong then I'm damn sure I don't want to be right.

The Green Mile.
I recentley read the book "The Green Mile", a novel written by a spectacular author; Stephen King. For all you guys who have no clue what this is. It's a story that tests the power between humanity and what labels that society has placed on eacother. In the beginning two young girls are brutally raped and beaten. A large black man named John Coffey is found with the two dead girls in his hands. Their hair streaked with blood, accusations are made. The law wasent as developed as it is now, so John was instantley put into jail. Disregarding the fact that somebody else could of done it, he is treated unfairley. During his period on death row, relations between the guards and Coffey grow stronger, to the point where you could call it a friendship. Susupision grows on the accusations and the guards soon come to realization that they have the wrong man. Coffey shows a power that is unspeakable. He has the ability to heal others. He uses this several times to heal the sick. The actuall murderer of the two girls is in the same block as Coffey, and everybody knows that it was him. This man is very odd. He is the type of guy that finds joy in making everybodies life miserable. He has no self resent for what he did, and takes pride in his accomplishments. The movie is very similar to the books ( though the books are better ). This movie was definitley a tear jerker. It was the kind of story where you had mixed emotions towards it. For instance John was put in the electrical chair to die for a crime he dident commit. You wanted him to live so bad, but at the same time you wanted him to live in peace. He had such a beautiful soul, but I guess that it was to much for the such a self centered world. He had no place in the world. He was shunned because his looks, and the killing of the two girls. I wish that the real criminal was caught. It bothered me how socity deamed him the killer when no work was put into the investigation. What, is that what our soictey is going to become, the world where everybody points there fingers without knowing what really went on.
It's sad how our world considering what advantages we have, can still manage to find some way to destroy something so beautiful. Are we really that self centred. Ask yourself: "Who are the real killers"? Is it us? Will we be the ones who manage to turn all beauty into something that's so ugly? John Coffey was a man who had a gift that could of changed humanity, but humanity had mangaged to change it. Humanity had managed to take away one of the most beauitful things that was ever created. I bet you when John sat in that chair. He thought of death as a silent peace where all the screams of pain, and tears of depression would disapear. A place where silence would wrap him in it's warm blanket. When he walked down The Green Mile the world may of just turned a little bit darker.

Animal Abuse
A cold wind hit me, sending shivers up my spine. My paws were frozen, the ice clinging onto my fur numbing my skin. A collar was placed around my neck. A steel chain was attached. My food bowl was empty. The ribs in my dieing body showed through the thin layer of fur I had. My stomach burned with hunger, for I only ate when I was told. If death could come to me and end the suffering, I would be in a more peacufull reality. The sick truth is that death seems appealing to me now, when most people want to live forever. I wanted to die forever. People say animals cant cry, if I could my tears would be frozen to my face right now.
Millions of forgotten souls are effected by animals abuse. They have no voices. No power to scream out. Humans have voices but we don't seem to use them in the right way. Humans seem to keep there mouths shut. Acting as though it can all go away. The more we push this world wide problem away the more these animals are going to vanish. These people who seem to think that they have more power over animals, seem to be the ones who want to hurt something because there life sucks. They have absolutley no power they just think they can call them selves superiour because they can chain up a dog and make it suffer. This just shows how vulnerable you are to thinking that pain is a good emotion to feel. What's the point in making something COMPLETLEY innocent suffer, when you have no self gain in it. Is trying to take away somethings life suppose to make you fall asleep at night as if you accomplished something? The reality is that you have NOT accomplished anything. What you're really doing is ripping a souls life away, destroying it. I think the consequences on this should be much higher. If there's no change in our socitey then how are people suppose to stop. How are people suppose to stop the killing? If you're killing a living thing then why shouldent you be locked in jail forever? People tend to think that animals are nothing. Animals are nothing because we make them seem like that. Why should something suffer without being heard? When somebody hurts a human being its all "OMG THATS TERRIBLE"- of course it should be like this but shouldent the same reaction be shown when this happens to an animal. The only thing we do is shrug it off, as if its nothing. Obviousley humanity has to start opening there eyes and realizing what has to be done to help the suffering. We say that we're making a change but the only change I see is the silence of the animals. And silence isent a good thing. Silence means there is nothing being done.
A darkness casted over me. This darkness was peacful. It blocked out the cold, the wounds on my back, the ice that froze my paws. This was the peace I had been looking for all along. I was not saved. Justice did not come when I needed it most. I guess I asked for to much. I guess having a warm home, food, and most of all love was to big of a wish. One thing turned out right in my short life. Death had found me and was now embracing me in it's warm presence. My body lay lifeless in the snow. Small specs of white covered my body suffocating me in the cold. I beat the odds of reality. I know I did cry that day. I felt the warm tears hit my nose. These are the warm tears that had froze on my lifeless body. The ones that had held everything in it's place.

Love- as in family
My last blog was about love, how it inflicts on other peoples lives. Well this blog will be on love to, but not the the type that you share with a boyfriend or girlfriend. This love is the one that runs through every bodies family. The relations that run through a family are very important, because they are the ones that define what kind of character you have. My last blog was about how love can all change our lives, well my friend thought that your families love is always going to be there no matter how bad situations get. She stated : People will always ask how many boyfriends you had, but when someones asks you how many mothers you had, the answer will always be one. This one statement says alot. Its shows that no matter what happens, how far you are away from your loved ones they will always be the ones that will remain in you heart forever. The feeling of having a boyfriend or girlfriend may be the best, but does anybody ever remember the times, where you were having a break down and your family were the ones to build you up before your whole life just fell apart. No boyfriend or girlfriend has the capacity to stay with you for there whole life. Like come on, no one does that. After all your mental break downs, I`m pretty sure they would of gotten sick of you by now. When something gets so big that nobody can help you, who do you turn to when you have no family left. Everybody seems to take their family for granted. Sure you`re not going to look at all the horrific outcomes that could happen. But just for once, think about what you have gone through with them, how many times they have been there for you. In reality your family will never run away from you. The only time they'll be running away.............is with you.

What Is True Love?
The moment you saw "his" face you thought that this would be the breaking point in your life. The moment where you would meet the guy who fufilled all your dreams, the man who had it all. Well there is no perfect moment in wich a girl can fall in love. Some people say it comes naturally, and some people say that its based on the time and place. Like the theory that everything has a purpose and a place, and our universe is not based on randomness. Well really what's the point in having a relationship if it was based on purpse, if it was meant to be.How about if you wanted to change it around, to change the face of reality. Well this is the trouble about love. Nobody knows when it's going to hit you. When it's going to spread it over powering hypnosess on you. This is the love that will change you life forever.
You know how people say that love is a drug that everybody is addicted to? Well what if it's not. What if its the passion and emotion that you show towards a certain person that determines your fate together. In my opinion I think that love can come in any age. Sure you can supposedley "fall in love" when your 13. But did you ever think that this may just be your insecurity or your low self esteem to hold onto somebody as long as you can, untill theres nothing left in between you. There are certain types of love......such as your highschool crush. This is the type of love that is based on first reactions. The ones that are classified under chemistry. Of course you fall asleep every night thinking about this person, but everybody seems to look in the long run. I don't think that looking in the future in where you relationship could be will benifit you in any way. What happend to living in the moment? Isent the more important thing is how you feel right now, and not what you feel the next day? Another question has affected me in an odd way. Why is it when you say"forever" feels as though it's some sort of mystery. Well this mystery is the compassion in true love. A true love doesent neccessarily have to last your whole life. A true love is the fufillment in your heart. Its the kind of love that makes you feel as though nothing can brake you apart. The love that tortues your soul until you cant take it. Well is this the devestating end of a perfect relation ship? Or the start of a beautifull beginning. You know how not one girl can never experience the perfect moment of love........It's because nobody interperates love in the same way. We manage to love in a way that makes it perfect for eachother.

The Lovely Bones
I recently watched a movie "The Lovely Bones". In my opinion I found this movie very moving in the sence that it showed the conept between life and death beautifully. It clearley showed the relations between the killer ( Mr. Harvery ) and Suzie. This movie takes off in the 1970's-1980's. An odd man named Mr . Harvey moves into town. Suzie takes her usuall route through the corn field to reach her house. This is when she has her first and last encounter with this man. Mr. Harvey slowley trys to lure in Suzie into an underground hole in which he supposedly made for the neighbourhood kids. Surely this sounds as a warm welcome to the 14 year old. So she follows Mr. Harvey into this hole where he starts a genuine talk with this girl. Suspision reaches Suzie when Mr. Harvey states that it's "Kinda hot in here". Taking off his coat Suzie realizes that something is offset about this man. Unsure what to do, Suzie sits a while hoping things will cool off. Matters just seem to get worse, and Mr. Harveys gestures seem to be striking on the "odd" side. Suzies attempts to escape but it ends in a failure. Mr. Harvey's adrenaline kicks in, the fear of his attack getting out into public, he grabs Suzie and pulls her down to where he brutally kills her. This is when the distress and depression hits the family. The whole story picks up from this point. The desperate search for Suzie has no impact on her. Justice does not come, and she is clearley dead, but her spirtit ( as some people may say ) watches her family'a desperate efforts to track her killer. She does not clearley see her family but theres certain objects in the movie that symbolize the moments she spent with her family. Her father had all the clues but could not put them together. He was determined to fufill the need to find the person responsible in killing his daughter. What really bothered me about this movie was that the detectives looked at all the wrong people. Like HELLO some man moved in next door and nobody has ever been killed before he moved there! Like why not look at the clues, they're infront of your faces. The Salmons kept telling the detectives that they suspect Mr. Harvey murdered Suzie....But NO he just could not listen to them. Maybe if the detectives looked into the case then Mr.Harvey would of been stopped before he moved onto his next victim. He's killed like over 10 people. What is he going to get away with it without any consequences? I guess that back then this was not made to be a big deal and society never experienced the death of a child caused by another human. So this movie made me realy think. What's better. The will to live on knowing that you know you did something wrong and still have the power to repeat your mistakes without regret. Or to live knowing that you admitted to your mistakes but still know that you destroyed the lives around you. As the movie said " I don't think he realized how much a father could love his daughter ". Maybe the concept of love never applyed to this man and he needed to bias his life on the misery of the people around him. Needless to say, this man never realized what he did wrong and yearned for the satisfaction of another murder. As I said this movie was moving, but it really made you think. What was better for Suzie....The fact that she realized how to let go of the ones she loved, or realize that her death had made her family have stronger ties, connecting them all in a way they could relate to eachother.
